My first pass at making a completely new Black Falcon shield:

There’s a .psd file there, too, though I don’t know if that’s acceptable for
Brickshelf since it doesn’t display unless you open it. I’ve made multiple
color copies of it, and I’ve found that it works better with a solid
(non-bordered) background or having the border a different color than the
falcon. Also, the detail is perhaps too ambitious printed out at the small
scale of a shield (Canon S900 six color printer). I’ve also found that the
actual printout is a shade too small to cover the old shield.
