Hello,

For those who are interested, I've posted instructions for my race car
transformer made by combining pieces from Maximum Wheels (4100) and Robobots
(4099) Designer Sets.  All you need is one copy of each set.

Via Building Instructions Portal (BIP):
http://www.bricksonthebrain.com/instructions/main.cfm?cat=10&review=557&revOn=true

Let me know if you have any trouble with the instructions.  I originally
wanted to do them with the LDraw tools but it looks like not all of the
pieces in the Designer Sets are available yet (CAD folks, correct me if I'm
wrong).  I had to go with real pics of the building steps instead.

Once you build it, the transforming steps are in the main gallery:

(i11.jpg through i15.jpg)

One step that might be tricky is rotating the head around.  Make sure the
red 2x2 turntable is level with the red wedge 4x4 plate when you turn the
head around (picture i14.jpg).  Once you push the chest down fully the
"tails" of the red wedge 4x4 plate keep the head from rotating, so that
intermediate step is your best chance to do it:

All the Best,
Paul D.
