I use the ones Bravenet.com provides free. It counts hits or visits and
provides all the stats you can need. You can have up to 3 counters with a
free account, but of course, nothing prevents you from having 2 or more
accounts like me ! The also have a selection of counter to choose frem to
match your websites color/style. I think it's the easiest way to go.
Simply copy-paste the code they provide for you to you page and it's done!
