All,
I had a few hours this weekend to add a couple new features to the Building
Instructions (BI) Portal. Listed below are the major updates!
First, the link in case you haven't been over yet:

- Recommend site to friend -
From the home page, you can click the "Recommend" link to shoot your friends
an email inviting them to check out the BI Portal. This builds upon the
existing functionality to email a single link to your friends.
- Ability to direct link to a Building Instruction -
If you are interested in putting a link from your personal Web site to your
BIs on the BI Portal, there is now a "Link Directly" option included with
every individual Building Instruction. This would allow you to encourage
visitors of your site to rank/review your BIs!
- View all Author's instructions -
In case you are interested in viewing all instructions by a particular
author, you now can! From the home page of the BI Portal, click the "View by
Author" option.
These updates are the first round of several, so check back often! And a
quick word of thanks to those of you who are using the site and helping to
build the BI Portal!
