Hi all,

I ran into a situation today that would be perfect for a non-existant part.
So, I figured I'd toss out some (new and existing) suggestions of parts to
be made:

=========================
2x2 corner curved top brick
(the one I needed today)
Imagine two of these (http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/search.cgi?q=6091),
placed 90 deg. from on another, with the "extruding" plates in the same
place.  Now, fill in the corner with a rounded surface to make a corner
piece.  This has all kinds of applications, especially for trainheads, methinks.

1x3 and/or 2x3 double slope 45 deg.
Imagine this piece (http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/search.cgi?q=2341)
except studs up for the 45 deg. design.  Great for the occasional odd-width
roof.

hybrid 33 degree/45 degree slope corners and peaks (imagine a roof with a 45
degree slope and a 33 degree slope on adjacent sides)

3x3 round bricks and plates

male-male plates
=========================

Now, maybe I'm just being hopeful, but I see no reason why these
multiple-use pieces can't be created.  We have Yoda heads, Troll bodies, and
the like, but not the very useful pieces above.  Hmm...

Please, oh please let at least some of these pieces appear in the future...

-Chris, the very hopeful AFOL

(...) I subscribe for that one too! (...) Before we get hybrids, I wish to get all of the 45°-shapes tranferred to the 33° and 75° systems: there are still some of missing bricks like 'negative' corner bricks etc. (...) Yeah! + 1x1x1 corrugated (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) These are probably difficult to mold. If you look on the backside of a plate, you will see that there is a small cavity behind the stud. This is to avoid large portions of molded material at one place, as I understand it. I think the structure (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)
