Hey all,
Wow. I was just browsing the new posts on .general and I read something
about the flame war in .direct. After a half hour of reading, I feel like I
just got off a rollercoaster! I was saddened AND heartened by what I read,
and I felt I wanted to say a few words. Perhaps I should take more time to
digest everything that's still ripping around in my brain like margarita mix
in a blender (yum!) but the hour's getting late and I have a long shift
tomorrow.
Suzanne made a mistake and apologized. Kudos to her. That's a really
difficult thing to do. We all make mistakes, but how we deal with them (and
whether we learn from them) marks the quality of our character and I think
Suz has shown a lot. As long as this kind of growth is possible, there's no
limit to where Lugnet and it's quirky community can go.
