BURP rants and wishes!

Hi All,
I was wondering if anybody else finds working with BURPs to be frustrating
and maddening!
While I like the idea of having an alternative to having to buy a ton of
dark gray brick, I can't help but think of how nice it would be to have a
BURP that was easy to use and worked with other BURPs in a logical and
blending way! If Lego had only designed that part "right", then I believe
my whole attitude towards the BURP to be different. As it is, those stupid
pieces are just a necessary evil in achieving a goal and not having to spend
a ton of money. Anyway, that's my two cents worth of complaining.. I have
to get back to my mountain building and frustration now!

| (...) You know, all that frustration would be avoided if LEGO just made bulk dark gray bricks like they should...LEGO made those BURPS to make their life easier, not ours! I know how you feel, Tom. Every mountain I've built ends up with a lot of (...) (22 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.general)
