    Uploading at Brickshelf.... —Matthew Sekerak
Hi all. I'm a Mac OS 9.2 user. With America Online (junk) I was never successful with uploading due to constant "server error" messages. I recently changed ISPs to Verizon online (DSL...it's GREAT!). Now I can actually upload, but the pics appear as (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) One thing I learned the hard way is that Brickshelf trusts your extension. So don't upload a GIF file with a .jpg extension. These can be easy to miss because they usually look fine on your Mac. I had a bunch of these. And never ever upload a (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.general)

Erik, thanks again! You were right on the money, your file extension tip solved the problem. Uploading works great now. The link will show you what I've posted so far if you're curious. -Matt (URL) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.general)

Constantine, thank you much for noticing and taking the time to point this out. I'm in the process of changing every file extension to .jpg, as I want everyone to enjoy what I have to offer, not become frustrated by it. Give me a couple hours and (...)         Re: Uploading at Brickshelf.... —Constantine Hannaher
That has done the trick, Matt. I do use Windows, but have had to support a Quadra 605 in the family for some years now, and also have a thrift-shop purchase of a Performa 6118CD at my disposal, so I'm familiar with System 7.5.3 and 8.5, and can (...)    That's good news! Yes, this whole Brickshelf experience has given me an education on Windows file naming. That's fine because I'm constantly working on understanding Windows as well as I do OS 6.X thru 9.2. -Matt . (23 years ago, 27-Apr-02, to lugnet.general)
