I have noticed this myself. I got a ton of these sets, yet I first noticed
the likeness of the namesake and the set was different in the catalog and I
kept an eye out for both. Since the same #'s exist on both renditions, I may
suppose that indeed the sets were a limited original run of the set. It
looks to me as if there was another sub group of these little dinos
available at sometime. To me, as a builder, I see the set and it translates
imeadiately to how I'm gonna use the parts and how many of them I'm gonna buy.
If it's a Snafu, I'd be interested to know, purely because I wanted to buy a
bunch of them. (thou I never just called them up and ordered it from SaH,
now if TLC sent a different set then pictured in the catalog now that would
be something.)
Dang what's the answer!
