Hello Castle Lovers,
I have pondered this one for some time and was hoping to visit Enfield this
Spring but my plans are falling apart.
A reissue of classic castles based on the Robin Hood Legend.
Key charators
1. King Richard - the king figure in set 2586 the free-be in the chess set
Shield or ensign is old lion
2. Prince John - blue torso with scales blue legs cowardly face with crown
and septer and blue and black cape
3. Sherrif of Nottingham - Black Falcon figure with evil bearded face and
cape hair and no helmet. Shield or ensign is Black Falcon
4. Robin Hood - One of the newer Dark forest figures cape quiver of arrows
and hair not hat.
The sets in subsets
King Richard (KR)
6044 - Kings Carriage -- new KR figure in standard set. Add two mounted red
and white colored Knights with chest armor and flip down nose guard. One can
be all white ( torso, hands, legs and helmet - with grey flip down guard) and
one decked in red or combination of colors.
6080 - Knigs Castle -- do not change castle just replaces old mounted knights
with KR and mounted guards
Prince John and Sherrif (PJ & SN)
6011 - PJ's treasure -- no changes for Robin to capture
6035 - Sherrif and guard -- replace old mounted knight with sherrif
6021 - Mounted dual -- Loyalist duels with PJ's guard
6073 or 6074 - Sherrif's Castle -- Peplace old mounted knights with PJ and SN
Robin Hood (RH)
1974 - smugglers Hayride -- no changes
6071 - Ambush -- add RH figure change baseplate from river to road. add a
mark for merrymen to capture.
6077 - River Fortress -- add RH figure.
Town of Nottingham.
6067 - Guarded Inn -- no changes
6041 - Armor Shop -- no changes
6040 - Blacksmith Shop -- no changes
6010 - Merchant Wagon(Supply Wagon) -- no changes
6023 - Madien's Cart -- gotta have a girl for Robin
New sets
Heros
KR on horse, RH on Horse, king's footman and a merryman.
Rouges
PJ on horse, SN on Horse one evil guard one poor peasant
Maybe I am way offbase, but I have seen enough interest in a reissue. Fancy
new boxes same old beloved figures and sets.
