Ugh. There are 3 distinct shades of plain yellow bricks in my collection. I
thought they came from different sources, but, I have just sorted a single
baggy with 2 distinct shades of yellow 2x2 bricks. YUCK! I am not talking
about light yellow and regular yellow, these are plain Lego Yellow bricks
but half of them have a greenish tinge reminiscent of cheese. I also have
many that are either more or less saturated yellow.
In full light it's hard to detect, but it becomes obvious when the light is
dimming.
That I have just got a mixture out of a single polybag means that they were
randomly mixed together at the source.
These bricks were in 1998 anniversary blue tubs.
One of my friends says he likes the variegated effect, but I don't. They are
extremely hard to tell apart until they are already used.

| I had noticed this some time ago, but thought I was just going blind... I've not seen it recently, so I guess that is a good thing. Troy "Erik Olson" <olsone@spamcop.net> wrote in message news:GLvo5p.JrG@lugnet.com... (...) I (...) is (...) were (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.general)
