I think it depends on why your sorting them.
Resale? Keep the figs complete and sort them by theme.
Your own collection? Again you may want to keep them complete with
accessories and sort them by theme.
Your own creations? You may want to break them down piece by piece and sort
them by color and part. Then you can easily locate the fig parts you need.
Or you can just send them to me and not ever worry about them again. : )
