What do you suggest for 'tables'.  Is there anything cool like a big roll of
gray plastic with LEGO brand or compatible connections on it I could roll
across to make my Asteroid Base?

6990+6991+6991+8 of the expansion kits would make one heck of a monorail
down here.

Any suggestions for tables?  Should I just go for the folding variety you
find in school cafeterias or is there something better out there?  I don't
have the tools to make my own easily, but my father does if something really
cool comes along.

Kid in a candy store time.  On high note right now because just got 2x6988,
6989, 6981, 6956, Blacktron Landing Plate Set (x2), and 5x6878, and 6953 for
about $470 off of an ebay auction.

Thanks

Tom

(...) My dream setup for a Lego room would have a large permanent wood table in the shape of the letter 'U' The width would be 3 or 3 1/2 baseplates across (the 32 x 32 stud variety). The edges would have a slight upward lip to hold the baseplates (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)
