I was looking through a weekly magazine that advertises
secondhand goods for a Housebus to buy when I spotted
a LEGO ad (very rare). It was for a boxed electric train set.
On making the phone call I found out it was for a 7740
Inter City Express (very rare in NZ), I bought it sight unseen
over the phone for $NZ180 ($US75). On getting it home I found
that the set is 99% complete (train 100% complete) and is only
missing one plain minifig and a couple of parts for the platform.
Am I a happy chappy :)It will go with the matching mail van
that I bought new about 16 years ago.
