This morning on Weekend Edition on NPR, there was a report about the New
York Toy Fair and LEGO. The focus of the report was about the TLC's
recent move to go into the action figure market with the Bionicle line
and associated violence. Mindstorms was also brought up, along with the
technic C3P0 and ST. There was also in interview with a child
psychologist about how the new themes with predeveloped characters do
not promote imagination as much as older LEGO does.
