I had 2 dreams relating to Lego last night and thought I'd share:
1. I was at some store that was sort of a cross between Sam's Club and some
kitchen store that we have in Columbus. But, one whole shelf was dedicated
to Lego. More specifically, old Space sets. The first one I noticed was my
personal holy grail, the Star Defender 200. But there were also what
appeared to be almost all of the other Futuron sets, as well as some Classic
Space like the Glaxy Commander and Space Supply Station. The only problem
though was that every set, no matter the size, was $111. The only exception
was the SD200 which was $70. This led into dream number two, but the two
weren't realted as far as I could tell.
2. I was in the center of a small auditorium setting up a table for
Brikwars. Most of the table was covered in blue baseplates for water, and
one edge had green baseplates for land. In the middle of the land side of
the table was a huge and awesome fort of some kind. It had tons of latticed
windows and was mostly green and white with some red. It had a red fence all
around it. There was also a huge Pirate ship in the center that looked like
the Black Seas Barracuda done in green and white to match the fort. Tons and
tons of Imperial Armada soldiers filled the ship. This was the army I was up
against. My army consisted of a very small in comparison to the fort Space
station. It was white and grey and tan and pretty boring looking. My army
consisted of two Space minifigs. If my memory serves right, they were a
yellow Futuron and a Blacktron I. I had to defend my base from the attackers
with just two minifigs. I finally decided that this was unfair, so I set
about making my meager army a lot better but adding two rowboats and a ton
of laser cannons, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to see what else I
built because my stupid alarm clock went off and startled the sheist out of me.
And on an non-Lego related note, I had another dream with those two. You
know in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where the bad guy drinks from the
wrong cup and dies a horribly nasty death? Well, I dreamt that that heppened
to Al Gore, so Joe Lieberman turned out to be the next President of the US.
