Was the first extreme slope (2*2*3) the blue one in set 775?
(I was really in to Lego back then, but my dear mother would not let me buy

Is the history of Lego pieces written down somewhere?
It would be a really interesting reading for a true Lego-fan. Maybe this
could be a fun future project for the community?

HI Joakim,

There is no complete history of LEGO, but I have (with Todd Lehman's kind
permission) started a "HISTORY OF LEGO" series that you can access from the
bottom of the LUGNET.GENERAL menu screen under "Links & Resources".

Although Steep Slopes have not yet been discussed, there is a lengthy
discussion about the regular sloped bricks from 1958-72.  Also there are other
items discussed there as well such as plates, Cellulose Acetate, classic
windows/doors, and Samsonite LEGO.  The classic doors document will be redone
(since the part 1 and 2 have been aged off of www.deja.com) in the very near
future.

Hope this helps,
Gary Istok
