A baseplate like that came with 6260 and 6265, I'm not sure if there are other
sets too.
I find the Pause database more easier to find specific sets. At the
description 'island baseplate' I suspect a few categories like pirate, divers
etc. so I 'browse' Pause to show all the pirate sets and found those two sets.
A quick check in Brickshelf in the building instructions verified that the
baseplate is indeed a 16x16 island.

| (...) I vote for 6260 as well. This was an extremely popular little set and I see the baseplate in e-bay auctions all the time. -The mad pirate Sean (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.general)
