Erin:
There are two sites that I can recommend related to stop motion animation with
LEGO. Thomas Foote has a site with a few short videos he's put together and
it includes a page of tips for working with animation. You can find that page
at:
http://members.xoom.com/thomasfoote/legomovies/tips.html
Also, I've put together a page with a few of my videos and it can be found at:
http://members.xoom.com/animatedbrik
On my page there are a couple of comments about how I made my videos.
Essentially, I have a JVC videocamera that allows you to set the recording
time to 1/4 or 1/2 of a second. So on that setting it's basically a matter of
record a shot, move the LEGO piece(s) a fraction, record a shot, move the LEGO
piece(s) a fraction, and so on over the course of several hours...
Hope these pages provide some help and inspiration. Good luck.

| I'm interested in doing animation with Lego. Is there a place online that deals with Lego stop motion animation? If so, please tell me as I am very interested in this subject! Thanks. Erin -- (25 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.general)
