How often do you all buy news sets? I have hardly been buying lately, probably
for about two or three years. I only really buy a new set if it has pieces I
don't have but want/need. I mostly try to make use of what I have, so after I
built up my collection to a decent (for me) size, I stopped buying. I have
probably less than a dozen post 1998 sets and no 2000 sets. If I can remember
correctly, the last set I bought was June or July of last year. Is anyone else
out there like me, or am I the only freak?

Well, I came out of my Dark Ages with the Star Wars line, so I've been buying
like crazy the past year.  I've probably tripled the size of my collection,
buying about 30-40 sets, and some 1200 piece buckets.  But, I'm beginning to
build up a good selection, so now I'm a piece hunter.  I only buy sets with a
good piece I want : don't want ratio.  The useless pieces end up on my BST
page (shameless plug:  www.geocities.com/xcalaburcm/lego.html).
