At Target this afternoon I entered the "Guess the number of LEGO bricks
R2D2 sweepstakes." It was on an end cap by a Pepsi display (one of the
sponsors) near the store entrance. Like the Yoda one they had last
year, you win the display model if your guess is the closest. The
in-store contest ends April 15th, or entries need to be mailed in by
April 22.
When I questioned an associate about the lack of a place on the entry
form to write your guess, he saw the number I had written in at the top
of my entry form and had a reaction I can only describe as pity. So I
brought a couple of entry forms home for my six- and four-year-olds.
Maybe they will be better judges of LEGO volume displacement than I am!
