I've had some similar problems down here in Oz. Several parts I've gotten [bricks and plates] have still had a thin plastic 'thread' hanging from a stud on top of them. I've also got a tyre here from one of the truck racing sets in town [it was (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)
