My method is similar to Dave's, but using a different brush.
I have a very soft bristle brush with a round 1inch diameter head which I
use with warm/tepid soapy water to lightly scrub elements if presoaking
and rinsing doesn't remove the dirt. It cost about $2.00 and is for washing
the face. I have cleaned river baseplates and Fabuland window/door/stair
elements with it with no harm resulting.
After drying the now clean elements with a old relatively lint-free towel,
I have blown the final droplets of water away with a hair dryer set on
COOL(no heat). I have also used a hair dryer set on COOL to blow away
dust on small models/scenes.

| I generally use warm soapy water and a soft bristle toothbrush. It leaves the paint intact and doesn't scratch too much. If it doesn't come completely clean I just repeat the process. Dave Chris Roy <rand.NO@generation.SPAM.net> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
