"A Leg up For Lego" - The Sunday Telegraph - Feb 8 2000

There was an article in the UK Sunday Telegraph about  "How the Danish
Toymaker Turned itself around". There is nothing really new in the article.
The main points for me:
+ Little chance of anymore licensing deals while they have Lucas & Disney
+ Kids grow out of Lego quicker now, so they plan to continue pushing
software and robotics - does this mean the rest will be further dumped down?
+ Continue to promote Lego as a brand name in more "Lifestyle" products.

See the whole thing here:

(...) All the more reason to concentrate on adult Lego enthusiasts. We spend more anyway. Bill (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)
