I spotted the following story in yesterday's AFP news wire feed, hopefully
it'll be of interest to someone out there?
(Note that I've reworded things to avoid copyright infringement.)
According to the newspaper Le Parisien/Aujourd'hui, Lego is closing its head
office in France and relocating to Italy.
130 people are employed at offices and warehouses in Chartres, west of Paris.
Previously 44 jobs went in a reorganisation in May 99.
The customer services and accounts move to Italy, the warehousing will be
sub-contracted to a company called Macon.
Regards,
John
