Well, this is weird...!!!! I have male and female click hinges EACH in
BOTH light and dark grey! This is from '99 SW sets too.
I have tons of lt-female + dk-male, and eight of the dk-female + lt-male.
Eight is not a stand-out number, unfortunately.
I suspect the Mos Espa Pod Race set, myself. Sorting its pieces was when I
first noticed them.... Can anyone verify or refute this?
Another possible reason to buy this set, as well as the nice green and
orange plates and cones....
