(...) It's true that it's not recommended. The TECHNIC hole is smaller in diameter than the inside of a 1x1 round brick, which is what allows TECHNIC pins to be inserted into round bricks without damaging the split tip. That doesn't mean it doesn't (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.general)

I looked at my two maces - one has the old gear and one the new. The new one grips better than the old, not worse, but neither slips. I don't feel like disassembling my flails to test the fit on the gears. I'll dig out more gears as I come across (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general, FTX)

I hadn't noticed any in the HP sets, but I did catch them in the 3579 NHL Street Hockey (kinda hard to miss them, since they're part of the rink barrier, and there's very little else (...)
