Your project sound very interesting, but I would much rather have a printed version! (22 years ago, 19-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: good sources of trans-colors other than trans-smoke?

(...) Jonathan, If I'm looking for quantity I try a BrickLink Advance Search (URL) keyword "windscreen" or "panel" -choose "parts" then "Trans-Orange" or "Trans-Dark Blue" -sort by "highest quantity" (if you are looking for lots) or highest price (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

good sources of trans-colors other than trans-smoke?

Are there any sets with windscreens or other large parts in colors other than trans-smoke? Specificly, trans-dark-blue and trans-fluro-orange (not the new alpha team trans-orange, the Ice Planet color) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Now this I could use. Anything that can help me get a more accurate number to give to the insurance company is good :) Only problem is going to be converting from USD to AUD :) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: AFOL records is up and running!!

Hmm, PNLTC's Guinness Book of Records train layout isn't listed as the longest layout, see: (URL) 1027 meters it beats the current layout listed. Frank (22 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Could you post pictures of the parts in these sets? I am really excited about the Prehistoric set (and all the dark red)! I've been eagerly awaiting an inventory on Peeron.com or Bricklink.com, but they have not yet showed up. Thanks Jeramy (22 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)
