Re: Update: Universal colors - beginnings

(...) Jake, Thanks for the update. Curiously absent from the list are any/all of the transparent colors. Hopefully some of those (t-white/clear, t-yellow, t-green, t-red) will be included in the additions to the list. Ray Sanders lugnet # 124 (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: Color Change - Final Update

Hi Jake, I didn't bought any of the 2004 sets and i think i will not. I'm really frustrated with this color change. I was thinking what - apart for changing back the colors (the wiser move: if there's anything worst than making a mistake it is not (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: Update: Universal colors - beginnings

(...) Jake, Would it be possible to poll the Lego community on what other colours should be included in the universal list. Perhaps if you get enough feedback regarding certain colours (like tan --- please keep tan) that might influence your (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: New Belville sets June 2004

(...) I think I've found some better (although unfortunately still very grainy) pictures of these cool new sets on a Czech Lego site. Here is the URL (and I hope that I've copied it correctly): (URL) look pretty good! My seven-year old daughter took (...)   Re: Jake did good Thanks!!

(...) When I was young my Lego buddy was like this, colour didn't matter, it was the shape and technical abilities of the model he was interested in, for myself the colour was an important element in designing a model. I think Kids just vary. (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) Jake, All the sets you have listed in this post (and another previous one) were great additions for the AFOL. Many thanks to whoever was responsible for bringing them to us!   Re: Update: Universal colors - beginnings

I love tan, and the "sand" colors. Tan, at least, needs to be around forever. I'd like to see chrome gold universalized, too. Imagine a 6285 Black Seas Barracuda with all the yellow replaced with chrome gold. That is bliss. (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: LEGO sucks!

(...) Dirk, Are you *sure* your an *adult* fan of LEGO? I don't doubt the "fan of LEGO" part, but I do seriously question the adult part. Are you saying you are more loyal than me? I'm sure not going anywhere. More colors mean more options. I invite (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Jake did good Thanks!!

(...) Well if anyone's keeping track, I've purchased ONE set (MINI Star Destroyer) with the new colours so far. It was cheap and for a specific part (ironic thing is that the part was in new light grey). Opening this set was so difficult - not (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general)

I should note (even though I have already done so numerous times), that while I do NOT support the company, I DO support Jake. Only if Jake had KKK's job would I blame him for the current issues.   Re: Jake did good Thanks!!

I hate to say it, but ditto. While I support Lego-the-product, LEGO-the-company does NOT have my support. I have bought 23 2004 sets to date, and 20 of those had all bley instantly added to my BL shop. I only bought 22 of the 21 to get 11 of the (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Color Change - Final Update

Hello Jake, First to respond to your request: At a minimum, I would request all bricks, plates and slopes in all three classic colours. I would further stand behind the requests others have made for specialty pieces. I would add the new pieces which (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)
