  Re: Jake did good Thanks!!

(...) Well if anyone's keeping track, I've purchased ONE set (MINI Star Destroyer) with the new colours so far. It was cheap and for a specific part (ironic thing is that the part was in new light grey). Opening this set was so difficult - not (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Jake did good Thanks!!

I should note (even though I have already done so numerous times), that while I do NOT support the company, I DO support Jake. Only if Jake had KKK's job would I blame him for the current issues. But since his job now includes liason, he's going to (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Jake did good Thanks!!

I hate to say it, but ditto. While I support Lego-the-product, LEGO-the-company does NOT have my support. I have bought 23 2004 sets to date, and 20 of those had all bley instantly added to my BL shop. I only bought 22 of the 21 to get 11 of the (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO sucks!

(...) Schnipp (...) Hey, speak for yourself ! I can say what I think and do it in a civilized manner (at least I hope my english is good enough ;) I am also not annoyed. I do like the new colors for my space-junk-mocs but I'll also miss the old (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Update: Universal colors - beginnings

(...) You think so? In my own comparisons, I've found that there are only five opaque colors that really go well with dark-bley (not counting light-bley and light-light-bley, of course), which are black, dark-blue, sand-blue, sand-green, and (...)   Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) *sigh* I'm doing my best to be optimistic about this, just like when I'm hoping that this whole "universal color" thing isn't just something they came up with to milk free AFOL PR out of the fact that they might never have intended to make any (...)   Re: LEGO sucks!

(...) A friend of mine is in a teaching program in Japan, and he's been commenting on some of the more odd instances of culture shock. One of the most interesting ones was finding out that some of the local residents will just cut in line whenever (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) OK... that what is the real reason for the change? Please don't tell me TLC is applying patent for the new colour... :p And why can't TLC switch back for the mean line, but can still produce old colour if needed? If the new colour is really (...)   Re: Color Change - Final Update

Hello Jake, First to respond to your request: At a minimum, I would request all bricks, plates and slopes in all three classic colours. I would further stand behind the requests others have made for specialty pieces. I would add the new pieces which (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) You assume that the monorail will be coming back. Do you know something I don't know, or is this an example of whishful thinking? :-) I'd love for the Monorail to come back.   Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) Boy... you folks just don't get it do you. Changing colours is a business decision!!! The fact that TLG decided to keep the new colours simply can not possibly indicate that they did not listen to AFOLs... only that they believe the new (...) (...) Now that you mention it, that's just how I feel as well. The product is still fantastic despite the poorly selected new shades of classic colors, but the company can no longer be trusted to maintain any of the values that make the lego system (...)
