(...) Well not sure about in your area, but the MOT Cars & the Sopwith Camel were available at Targets and the Santa Fe Engine, Rebel Blockade Runner, Pizza To Go, & Breezeway Cafe were available at TRU.   Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) Well I think it's pretty obvious that I would buy a ton of this pack if it was ever made. And I could think of at least a ½ dozen other builders in my club that would as well.   The prefect answer to deciding which parts to make in the old colors

Basicly, builders for each theme (well certainly the core themes like space, castle, pirates, town, trains & technic) would come up with a list of the parts that they most use. Then, from there, the lists would be combined (I suspect that quite a (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, lugnet.announce)

Re: Color Change - Final Update (some ideas)

(...) Personally, I think that the best way to go is to take the 6 main themes (Castle, Space, Town, Train, Pirates, Technic) and figure out, for each of them, what parts builders of those themes most want (and for each part, whether they want old (...)   Colour change: The best way to screw the Lego values

(...) Wow.... I've been an intern for 4 months at a Dutch injection moulding company but I never knew it was possible, apart from the black (as has been done for years with car bumpers and such) But unless you do this in HUGE quantities, how can you (...)   Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) There's been no mention of whether white is "universal" or not. But since it clashes so much with the new permanent colors, I think it's only a matter of time before we can kiss it goodbye, too. Mark (22 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) I'm actually quite partial to the standard LEGO purple, though I've noticed that the Throwbot limbs aren't the same shade as all of the other pieces, and they've used three slightly different shades of purple rubber (two shades for purple (...)   Re: Color Change - Final Update

(...) If the roads are only 4-wide, the cars will clip each other as they drive past in opposing lanes (ask Steve Ringe how much of a problem that is). Also, not everyone builds 4-wide cars.   Re: Color Change - Final Update

I'd say I have to agree that the parts packs of basic bricks, plates and tiles would be a good permanent setting. However, I would like to see those same packs in the new colors ALSO.   Re: Color Change - Final Update
