Re: Lego Playmobil-like figures at McDonalds

(...) Oh, that's just so wrong... The only thing even remotely good about them is the fact that you can mix and match the pieces. But, will those pieces work with our existing bricks? I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't! <sigh> JohnG, GMLTC (22 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Australian Brickfest? 2005 - Survey

(...) ... or not - I believe LEGO sponsored Brickfest PDX in at least a small way, I think it would depend on the amount of sponsorship involved. (...) Well yes, but there will likely be other bricks involved too, in small amounts. (...) LOL! (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.events, lugnet.general, FTX)

Metroliner 10001 (nearly) sold out! Was: What is the point of having shop @ home??

Hi Eli, another point why you can get some sets in one shop and not in the other: The item might be sold out and discontinued. Yes, the Legend-Metroliner will be discontinued, when it is sold out and it will be sold out _VERY_ soon (at least in (...)   Re: The Knight Bus has arrived... but it's not all good news

Is it possible that the variation is intentional? Even with a new purple, there were other purple shades before. Are the variations in different parts in different sets? Just wondering. -Stefan- (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: What is the point of having shop @ home??

(...) That could be. But whenever I order from the dutch store, the package comes from Germany. But when I call, I get a belgian female on the phone. S@H is very international over here :-) /\/\ark "gonna order some basic grey bricks; they're still (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

Re: StudWars presents : .castle vs. .space !!!

(...) So what do you guys think of these? -Galidor vs. Jack Stone -Bionicle vs. Knights (big fellows) -Minifigs vs. Jack Stone (not in a popularity contest, but rather in a royal rumble wrestling match) -Bricks vs. Plates Keep in mind that the (...) (...) I think you'll find the telephone calls are terminated in the UK, but product is actually shipped from Denmark. Jason Railton (22 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

Re: StudWars presents : .castle vs. .space !!!

(...) That'd be awfully one-sided. However misguided they may be, there are some people that actually like Bionicle. Wait until the big Rainbow Knights hit U.S. shelves this summer. They might be a better contender than Galidor. (But then, the same (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

Re: What is the point of having shop @ home??

(...) See, that's funny, because when we here in Denmark buy from S-a-H, it's served out of Lego UK! I've tried to call TLC in Billund, but was re-routed to UK. Arne, Copenhagen (22 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)
