Re: Quatro newsgroup, but no Racers newsgroup?

(...) I think you're using the words "ridiculous" and "seriously wrong" a little lightly.... (22 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

Quatro newsgroup, but no Racers newsgroup?

So Quatro got its newsgroup, but RACERS still doesn't? This is ridiculous. Why not put it under Duplo? Something is seriously wrong here. When I asked for a Racers newsgroup, many people agreed. Racers is a much more popular theme among adults than (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Lego Saddam Captured!!!

(...) Alternate Timeline, LOL!!! :p :D (URL) still not finished with any of the CZ-GC armies, their buildings, urban combat areas, and of course the military vehicles (all still in prototype forms).   Re: Mispacked 1380s

(...) A run of the 10000 Guarded Inn had a white horse with indian print instead of a plain white, several runs of the Santa Fe engine 10020 had dark grey 6.6L bars instead of red. Those come to mind right now (LEGO actually shipped separate (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Homebrewed LEGO USB Dongle

  Re: Homebrewed LEGO USB Dongle

Hi Larry, (...) yes, that made me think it was something like IrDA or maybe even Mindstorms IR. And there are still others for Bluetooth or wireless mice, not to mention those to prevent unlicensed use of software. (...) I got a cheap 32MB one (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Mispacked 1380s

(...) The first few copies of the TECHNIC R2-D2 that I picked up had an incorrectly packed part, but the weight wouldn't have been affected enough to notice. They're supposed to have 2x #6 angle connector and 1x #5 angle connector in white, but mine (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: A positive thing about the color change . . . no, really!!

I totally agree with you, Matthew. I'm trying to get excited about "weathering" ideas to distract myself from these feelings of loss. Spinning straw into gold might take awhile, but I'm gonna try! Dave "Matthew Miller" <mattdm@mattdm.org> wrote in (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Homebrewed LEGO USB Dongle

(...) -- snip -- I'm always amazed at the things people manage to house in LEGO. I seem to recall someone putting their PDA guts into a LEGO case a long time ago. Very cool shtuff! If I ever find a cheap memory stick, I might have to make one of (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)
