  ABS... but which one?

Hi all, Some years ago I recall seeing an article about LEGO, where there was a small image of ABS granules being fed to a moulding machine. Back then I did not care too much about it, but now it appeared interesting enough to investigate... So I (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Happy birthday, Minifig!

(...) It's good if you're female, horrible for a male. :) But I can understand the discrepancy, look at the themes we've had thus far: Pirates, very few female pirates historically Castle, females are restricted to the Queen/Princess/waitress roles (...) (...) I consider the minifig to be a perfect representation of humanity. Long may it reign in our hearts and on every Christmas, birthday, and toy shopper's list for many years to come! -Harvey (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Sorting

(...) Nice resolution :) Well, I have a medium small collection (around 4000 parts), so I just decided to purchase several of the drawer storage units, and divided my collection by parts type instead of color. Trust me, sorting by color will only (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Sorting

(...) My experience is it's all about how much Lego you've got. If you've got a collection that's less than, say, 3,000 pieces, you probably don't really even need to sort. In the end I think what it boils down to is how large of a bin/box/drawer (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Sorting

Hey Alex, So far I have my collection sorted this way: Rarer colors have their own drawer for everything since I don't have a lot of pieces yet. All my Castle and Pirate-specific pieces are grouped together in several large drawers. My basic bricks (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Brick Testament site linked with child porn case??!!

(...) Yeah, after all the build-up, the actual page of links was almost shockingly mundane, and a bit of a letdown, I must say. Thanks for excavating it, though, Bryan. (...) You really do get the feeling of "trumped up charges" after reading that (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general)

Re: Brick Testament site linked with child porn case??!!

I question the "questionable" nature of such web site links as the Brick Testament (the biblical stories depicted are right out of the bible, there is no editing or 'artistic license' taken with the stories), Thomas the Tank Engine (sorta like (...)   Re: Fair Use vs. Infringement (was: Re: Intellectual property and the Internet)

(...) Actually, any creative endeavor is automatically protected by copyright law, regardless of whether or not the creator actually places a copyright symbol there. That, and the more proactive step of actually paying the fee and _applying_ for an (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.de)
