Hi everyone!

I’ve noticed that activity has kind of died in the past months, and I’m thinking that we need more new players. But people can be scared off by the prospect of just jumping into the game right away, or confused by something they think is complicated. I’ve got a solutions to both these problems:

The Starship Introductory Course! http://www.frontiernet.net/~jengst/space/start.html

It’s designed to teach new players the ropes (automatically) and give them a place to test the game that they perceive as “safe” in terms of learning and making mistakes, and nobody gets mad at them for holding up the game. Not that we would anyway, but we all know how newbs see things (having been newbs at one time ourselves).

Just posting to see what you think. --Andrew
