Fabulous. It has that angular brutality of the war machine with no time or
interest in aesthetics for their own value.
Very nice.
Its interesting too because I find my own thoughts turning from the peaceful and
repair intentions of Port Block Yards and the Commonwealth of New Pacific to
something more destructive.
The Vorgans are invading parts of New Pacific, with their
Survey frigates in the lead, and
are doing well. Several large tenders have been lost, and Fleet Command is yet
to establish a winning strategy against the Vorgans, but the Yards are starting
to turn out warships more nimble and mission flexible than the aging
Gunships.
The Assault Tender HES Platypus is currently complete but for her engines. 6
decks in height and with a crew of 40, her role is to support assault ships, as
well as defend herself if called upon to do so. What it needs is a half dozen
of these dropships ;-)

Still baldly going...

| (...) Thank you very much sir. I've got more projects in the works (based on some more of that Christian Piccolo guy's drawings). Should be a cruiser next, unless I get some divine inspiration in another direction. --Andrew (20 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship, lugnet.space, FTX)
