Top officials of the Alliance Fleet of Helix Sector today confirmed their joint
research operations in New Pacific Sector. The New Pacific authorities have
announced a potentially dangerous anomaly located in New Pacific, and that they
advise in-sector travelers to keep their distance. The authorities also
announced that they were researching the anomaly with the help of Helian
scientists.
Joan Kelly, head of the Fleet Science and Research division, confirms that a
Helian vessel is assisting NP scientists. We do have the SV-11d Magellan in
the area. The Magellan was originally deployed to study the dust clouds in New
Pacific, something of a shakedown cruise since her last refit. Fortunately, she
was in the area when the anomaly problem showed up.
Kelly declines to give any further information on the Magellan, saying that all
information related to the FSR is considered sensitive. She does, however,
