James Earl Jones-esque voice: This is GNN.
-zzzt- For those just joining us, the top story of the hour is the report of a
possible war breaking out in the sector of Val-Central. According to
reports from a GNN affiliate onboard MediaShip Witness 2, the warship
known as the USC Hell’s Fury of Arbor sector has arrived near the
planet Anutis and has been threatening to invade the sector. The USC
ship has fired on the native FSPC Haystack, apparently crippling its
power supply. Unverified reports say that the Hell’s Fury may have
taken the MediaShip captive. It is not known whether the Hell’s Fury
is aware of the recent break up of the USC.
According to our source, a ship of the Formian nation of Valyance seems to be
working in alliance with the Hell’s Fury, and another USC-built vessel has been
seen nearby.
Two other nations of Valyance, Billundia (FSPC) and Lortar (LLG), have issued
calls for military aid in defending the peace of Valyance from the security
threats they now face. No word yet on what governments, if any, will move to
assist them.
