   Hello all,
Been very busy this month with getting ready for my Bricktek game at Marcon.
I ended up with some unexpected (but welcome) free time on my hands when I had
to stay home from work due to a sinus infection.

Thus the Samuraii was born!

I built him over the course of three days.
I tried a few new ideas for protecting the knee, shoulder and hip joints rather
then just slapping plates on the outside of them. The hip and shoulder joints
have a degree of movement independent of the limbs themselves.

  Knee and hip:

  Shoulder:

Please, let me know what you think!

Hi Jon, Thanks for showing me that mech in person, very nice. I like it a lot, unlike that snotty kid that said he could build it better :) Very nice covering of the joints, but you have to find that right 3x2 dark red wedge plate next time you show (...) (...) I like the little auxilliary weapon mounted to the head, that's a real classic Battletech touch. This looks like a mech the Draconis Combine might build. I like how you concealed the joints in the shoulder and hip. Just above the elbow, where (...) (19 years ago, 29-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
