Alright, much to Jason's relief, I have given the rules some thought. Here is
what I got so far.
We use the rules that Jason has up so far on the web site about calculating how
big each player's faction's forces will be.
Other than that, we use Brikwar rules.
Why do I say this? 'cause aside from forming alliances and breaking alliances,
there is not going to be much interaction between players and factions aside
from whatever story driven decorations each player creates for their factions.
From what I see, we are going to have three things happen during all of this:
1. Futuristic Sci Fi Brikwar battles between players.
2. Player interaction in the form of alliances and razzing.
3. Players adding whatever decoration they want to their factions to make it all
look good.
What else is there? So we only need to lay down rules about how big our armies
will be. Some players will be able to conquer a bunch of land and have sizeable
armies to wield. But, unless I am mistaken, I think that the randomness of
Brikwars and the dice will play a nice role in keeping large armies humble when
players try to bring large armies against another player's smaller army.
By the way, Jason, for all your work on the web site, you have been made a
saint.
Yep, got the papers in from Rome today, you're a friggin' saint.
