Lasers are the generic category for any gun that fires in a straight line
(not a Ballistik), doesn't have to be loaded with shells (not a Cannon), and
doesn't have explosive rounds (not a Blaster). So large-scale machine guns
fall under the Lasers category, probably a MkI or MkII.
Something like a Vulcan would have a limitation that it couldn't be used for
a single-shot or three-round-burst. Every attack would have to be
full-auto, probably with 15 or 30 degrees of minimum arc of effect, which
would shave a couple of CPs off the price tag.
