I haven't dabbled much into MOC trains thus far, but I decided that my
Christmas tree layout needed a little extra something.  To that end, I created
a nifty train, driven by santa, and hauling lots of presents for all the girls
and boys.  It's on the town page.  Enjoy.

Nice, Adrian!  I've yet to try holiday theming with trains.  I tried to
build a replica of that Hallmark Christmas Ornament from 1995, but that's
about it.

I really like the way my steam engine turned out. Considering I limited my
self to primarily red pieces, with trim in white and green, I think it
turned out pretty well.  I've discovered that the key to a good looking
model is the proper placement of lots of random doohickeys and gizmos.

Not having a model to work off of sort of hampered this endeavor.  What does
that christmas ornament look like?  Do you have a pic on the net somewhere
of it?
