Get thee out to K-Mart! :) K-Mart stores in Boston (maybe everywhere?) are having a BOGO (Buy One Get One 50%-off) sale on all LEGO, and the new LEGO DUPLO "eggs" are on the shelves here! :-s There are 4 eggs so far (I'm hopefully expecting more, (...) | | Happy Flag Day Canada!

A couple of nights ago I decided to try to build a Canadian flag on a 16x32 baseplate. While I was looking for some reference flags online I realized that Canada's Flag Day was coming up. Head on over to the new Brickshelf gallery to see my version (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.announce.brickshelf, lugnet.fun.holiday)

(...) Actually neither is LEGO but, I do have a train under my tree and another in my tree. I have an N-Scale trian in the middle of my tree (its a fake tree). The trains, of course, run in opposite directions. But what makes it really fun is that I (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-99, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

When my wife was raising eyebrows at putting the little Advent Calendar sets on the tree, I said "Hey look, at least I'm not into trains... then we'd have a train running around the tree!"
