Greetings from the LEGO Fan group again!
Lately we have been making quite a stir in the community, and we’re not about to
stop yet. Earlier this year, LEGOLAND California hosted a Star Wars® Weekend .
Part of this event included 2 Imperial Star Destroyer (ISD) speed build
contests. The times for the two contests, held on separate days, were 1 hour, 34
minutes and 1 hour, 21 minutes respectively. (for more information about

After the ISD event, LLC kindly donated the kits
to LEGO Fan to be given away to the fan community. Using a random number drawing
from the registered user database, we have selected a winner of the first ISD -
James Going, from Alabama. He has been contacted and will be receiving his kit
in the mail soon. Needless to say, he was a bit overjoyed at the
news. Congratulations, James!
Of course, that leaves one more ISD to give
away ... and in one week, we’ll be selecting another random winner from our user
