<P>You can make a wide variety of robotic inventions with the Basic Kit.
With the standard Mindstorms package, you get two motors, so your choices
are fairly limited to a robot that can manuver and use sensors, or a robot
that sits still and can move pieces around a fixed base. With the
RoboSports expansion kit, you get a third motor which gives you a lot more
potential.</P>
