First, thanks for all the comments, this is really helpful.
Because depending on the success of NWBrickCon and the input of its
participants, will dictate how the con is shaped for future years.
Second, I better speak up on how the con will be set up.
A large part of this is going to be public. We lucked out getting into the
Center House the way we did, for free.
As such this event needs to be billed as a family oriented event to satisfy
the Seattle Center (one of the sponsors). Exclusitivity costs and our motto
is "low cost, big fun." The public will be a very visable part of
NWBrickCon. Parts (read "MOCs") will be in the public view 100% of the time.
Also, a room will be seperate of the viewing areas for classes and gaming.
This will be our private area. A seperate room where the public won't be
allowed and the AFOLs can have a space all of their own.
I imagine this will encourage some and discourage others. In any case I
hope this post was helpful, please don't be afraid to e-mail me, and I hope
to see you at the con!

| As coordinators and schedulers of NWBrickCon, the LEGO-based International Convention hosted by SEALUG, PLNTC, and SMART in the Northwest region of the United States, we're trying to figure out what will suit you, the attendees best. Let us know (...) (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.events.brickswest) !
