(ALEBA- Adult Lego Enthusiast By Association) I just made that up today.....
I very much enjoyed meeting all the people behind the names I’ve seen
scrolling by from Lugnet postings. To finally see their creations and in
person was well beyond my expectations. (no snow was pretty cool too –
Christina, did you ever make it home?)
I must say though, the animation part of the fest was by far and away the
high point for me. I’d never thought to see such creative and original (not
to mention laugh out loud) work evolving from something so apparently simple
as Lego mini-figdom.
Thanks to Todd Thuma for going to the effort to organize this feature of
BricksWest and also to everyone else (thanks Matt et al.) who went to such
an effort to pull off an an event like “BricksWest”. It takes extraordinary
planning and dedication as well as time, effort and perseverance to carry
off any event like this, many thanks to all who helped making this a good time!
