Keeny aul: Color blind ness regarding minifigs? Is it going away? Wat
aboiyut the basketball sets?
A: it’s a new dimension.. we are for the first time portraying real people.
It is time for the minifig to evolve, this is the 25th burthday of the
minifig. This is a celebration. In real world situations it’s OK to see Kobe
and Shaq for real. Star wars actors are portraying characters… not saying we
are or aren’t going to have a Lando, but al licensed situation is a bit
different

Pretty much the scenario I've been saying all along: when it comes to
actually saying the will or won't produce a Lando or Mace, Lego is yellow
(sorry, couldn't resist it <g>).  But one thing is pretty obvious: Lego
clearly does not believe that "yellow is neutral".  Where it plays out will
be interesting, but the time for a decision has come.

Announcement: we are working with NASA and the planetary society… two rovers
wil be leaving the cape bound for Mars within the year. We are working with
them on this to generate more awareness about space with kids. Because” 1 it
is neat and in synck with ous as a brand… discouver, push limits of
imangination, turn dreams int o reality… and 2  the companies we talk to
through FLL tell us kids to day are not interested enough in science and
technology… where are the engineers of tomorrow coming from?> the space
program in the 60s created an entire generation of engineers and scientists…
this is a huge concern. Nasa has 3 times within 5 years of retirement as
they do under 30 years old.

NASA, the Planetary Society *and* JPL.  Does this mean I can finally mention
this?  I've had a gag order in place from my wife about this for some time now.

Thanks for the report, Larry.
