Congratulations, people: you're national!
The final story on the Grand Rapids, Michigan WOOD-TV late news was some
shots from LEGOLand CA and Brickswest. It was very short, but mentioned the
following 'facts':
1. LEGOLand is actually a theme park in Carlsbad, California.
2. The average legomaniac is a 32 year-old male.
3. This 'gathering of legomaniacs' is the largest such festival in the US.
Unfortunately, Brickswest wasn't mentioned by name, and the only person
shown was wearing a BrickFest 2001 T-shirt.
But still, it was very cool to see it come across my screen, 2500 miles away. :)
If anyone has access to the original feed, I'd be very interested to
see/read the full story.
