Steve Jackson To Attend BricksWest™ 2002 - Evil Stevie's Pirate Game Scheduled

December 1, 2001—Today the volunteer committee of organizers is proud to
officially announce the scheduled attendance of Steve Jackson,  President
and Editor-in-Chief of Steve Jackson Games, at BricksWest 2002, the West
Coast LEGO® fan event.

As our very special guest, Steve will be running sessions of his famous
Pirate Game during BricksWest. Evil Stevie's Pirate Game is a pirate themed
floor game experience, using pirate minatures from The LEGO Company as
stand-ins for bloodthirsty privateers, noble imperial naval troops and
savage island natives.

Steve will also be holding one or two intimate conference sessions during
the course of the event. Subjects are yet to be determined, but LEGO toys
and role-playing and minatures gaming are sure to be discussed.

About The Event
Designed for the Adult Fan Of LEGO (AFOL), families, and children of all
ages, BricksWest will be the premiere West Coast gathering for fans of the
brick. The event will take place in beautiful Carlsbad, California, home of
the LEGOLAND™ California theme park.

The innaugural BricksWest gathering will take place President's Day Weekend,
February 16 - 18, 2002. Situated one and a half months after the winter
holidays, two days after Valentines Day, and six months away from WAMALUG's
(http://www.wamalug.org) BrickFest™ (http://www.brickfest.com) on the East
Coast, this weekend should be perfect for our ultimate gathering of LEGO fans.

BricksWest is a fan-produced event officially sanctioned and sponsored by
the LEGO Group of companies.

(...) Has Steve seen the times slated for the game? It seems that those are gonna be pretty brief sessions, from our experience in Arlington. best LFB (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.events.brickswest)
